Abstract: Karyotype anaiysis for the species Tetradoxa omeiensis (Hara) C.Y.Wu of the monotypic genus Tetradoxa C.Y.Wu is reported for the first.The number of the chromosones in the root-tip cell was found ot be 36.Of the 2n=36 fourteen chromosomes .

摘要： 四福花[Tetradoxa omeiensis(Hara)C.Y.Wu]体细胞具有36个染色体。其核型组成为2n=36=6m+14sm+4st+12t，即具有3对端部着丝点染色体。
