Abstract: Based on the data from comprehensive methods involving morphology, leaf epidermis, palynology, molecular systematics and biogeography, we thought it was improper that the genus Cyclopeltis was placed in the family Dryopteridaceae. These evidences also indicated that the genus had more closely related to some members of Tectariaceae than any other genera of Dryopteridaceae. We suggested that the genus should be deleted from Dryopteridaceae but placed in Tectariaceae.
