Abstract: The family of Pleuroziaceae of China, except some species, have not been studied com- pletely. In recent years, the authors collected and gathered the Chinese specimens of that family and found that there are five species of Pleuroziaceae in China. Among them, Pleurozia caledenica is newly recorded in China, as well, P.subitheta and P.gigantea are the first time to be found in Fujian and Zhejiang Provinces and Jiangxi Province seperately. The description of the family, key of the species and their figures are included in this paper.

摘要： 对收集到的紫叶苔科标本进行鉴定研究，发现在我国分布有5种，其中Pleuroziacaledonica为我国新记录，并发现P．subinflata在福建和浙江地区有新分布点，P．gigantea在江西九连山地区有新分布点。本文附有科的特征描述、种的检索和种的特征图。
