Abstract: In our previous paper,we reported two new eremophilane derivatives from Ligularia veitchiana[1].Further research to the polar section of this plant led to the isolation of a new triterpenoid saponin, named Liguveitoside A．Its structure was determined on the basis of the spectral and chemical methods．
